Too much gardening? Whiplash from a car accident? Or training hard for your favorite sport? We have the support for you!
The goal of treatment is to accelerate healing, decrease your dependency on medications and increasing your tolerance to activity. Get back to doing what you love faster.
Some of immediate clinical benefits we see are: reduced swelling, increased range of motion, decreased pain levels, better sleep, improved activities of daily living (getting dressed, brushing teething, getting around the house and in and out of the car).
Musculoskeletal conditions that the low level laser therapy treats includes: sprains, strains, bursitis, fasciitis, tendonitis, tendinopathies, and fractures.
Laser therapy can decrease the progression of joint disease at any stage. Generally speaking however, the sooner the better. The main benefits include decrease pain and improvements to activity of daily living.
From clinical practice we have the opportunity to check for misalignment, systemic causes of inflammation and treat from multiple layers.
Conditions that benefit include Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, degenerative joint disease, Facet syndrome, osteophytes, chondromalacia
Increase the rate of healing, blood flow, and collagen production! Laser therapy can help prevent complications of wound healing (such as nerve entrapment), excessive scar tissue formation, and promote shift from the inflammation to resolution. Once in the resolution stage, laser therapy is known to speed up the rate of healing.
Skin is our favorite to treat because we can actually visualize the improvements to the tissue.
Post-surgical incisions, ulcers (including non-healing diabetic ulcers), and skin lesions all improve after starting laser treatments.
Improve nerve healing, support myelin production, reduce pain signals and heal faster. Laser therapy provides real hope with seemingly untreatable nerve conditions in a non-invasive way.
From experience we have had great benefits to the following conditions: neuralgias (including trigeminal and herpetic), neuropathies (chemotherapy induced, antibiotic induced, idiopathic, diabetic), sciatica, carpel tunnel syndrome and spinal radiculopathies.
Laser therapy research has shown promising benefits for post-concussion syndrome. These benefits include decreased headaches, increase tolerance to sensory information, improved mood, and increased memory and cognitive function. We also see improvements to sleep levels, relationships and work productivity.
Similarity, exciting new research is emerging on the benefits for laser therapy for mood disorders! Stay tuned as we learn more. Feel free to check out the Bioflex website for more information HERE.
